Job summary:  Compensation will be based on experience and commission is not included in base salary but is earned with capturing jobs and profitability.  Servpro is looking for a seasoned Sales Construction Estimator, taking also a management role over the construction division.  We are a restoration company that does mitigation and repairs from water, fire, mold, bio-hazard damage.  you will be required to maintain strong relationships in the industry and have good communication skills.  Sales experience a plus for earning potential!

Key Responsibilities
·         Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience
·         Compile and resolve punch list items
·         Perform final walk-through with customer
·         Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer
·         Manage all warranty activities
·         Evaluate and sell projects
·         Educate customers on construction process
·         Identify and document project scope of work
·         Create and Review estimates - estimator role involved
·         Obtain customer and client agreement on scope and estimate
·         Create and Review budgets
·         Ensure proper permits are acquired
·         Create project schedule and timeline
·         Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers
·         Negotiate terms and set expectations
·         Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors
·         Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers
·         Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work
·         Be familiar with and be able to execute all roles and responsibilities of the Construction Coordinator and Construction Superintendent

Job Qualifications for Estimator:
  • Proficient with Xactimate software and Symbility (training can be provided if not proficient but this will be a plus).   
  • Work with TPA's and adjusters to upload estimates in a timely manner (after site inspection, Sketch and scope).
  • Maintain excel spreadsheet with all jobs, in conjunction with PM's.
  • Create accurate estimates.
  • Good communication between customer, client (TPA's and/or adjusters) and other teammates at Servpro.
  • Create budgets for the PM's, after approval and moving forward.
  • Determine at initial site visit if customer is wanting any upgrades, so that after approval, the estimate/supplement and change order can be done quickly for customer and to keep the job moving toward production.
  • Must be organized and prioritize daily schedule and tasks.  Take initiative on what needs to be done, with little supervision.
  • Follow SOP's, can also create new ones to help the division run more efficiently.
  • Able to overcome challenges and obstacles through problem-solving and having a positive attitude.

·         The noise level at individual jobsites can be loud
